170 meals were sold at the fundraiser for the Saint Ubaldo Society.

JESSUP, Pa. — The annual ‘chicken cutlet meal’ fundraiser to benefit Jessup’s ‘Saint Ubaldo Society’ took place Sunday at the Saint Ubaldo Cultural Center along Third Avenue in Lackawanna County.

Community members paid $20 for a chicken cutlet meal, which included Italian green beans, diced potatoes, and dessert.

“Saint Ubaldo, Saint George, Saint Anthony. We’re all together when it comes to society, all the teams contributed in some fashion, whether it’s helping the kitchen, serving people desserts,” said Scott Hall, President of the Saint Ubaldo Society.

If you missed today’s fundraiser, organizers say an event called ‘Saint Ubaldo Hospitality Night ‘ will be held Saturday, May 2nd, at Jessup’s Cultural Center.
