FORKS TWP., Pa.- A transportation company founded in the Lehigh Valley more than 40 years ago has left its home outside Easton.
Easton Coach Company is no longer operating out of 1200 Conroy Place in Forks Township.
An employee who answered the phone when a 69 News reporter called said the company moved to 926 E. Market Street in Bethlehem at the end of February. The employee did not know the reason for the move.
Easton Coach was founded in 1984 and officially incorporated in 2002. According to its website, it has a fleet of more than 700 vehicles, including paratransit vans, motorcoaches and minibuses.
In 2021, the Massachusetts-based Beacon Mobility company acquired Easton Coach as well as Palmeri Transportation, which also based its transportation operations at 1200 Conroy Place.

According to Northampton County property records, the parcel is owned by an LLC with a Highland Park, Illinois address. That LLC- Crosswest Beech Easton- purchased the property last year.
A listing on the commercial real estate website Loopnet earlier this year advertised the property as being available to rent. The listing has since been removed.
The seven-acre site includes a nearly 18,000-square foot maintenance shop, 5,000-square-foot office building, and a large, fenced-in lot at the back of the property.
