WEST PITTSTON — Wyoming Area Regional Police charged Lester Lewis Cobb, 45, on allegations he inappropriately touched a girl for sexual gratification in 2022, according to court records.
Cobb, of Delaware Avenue, West Pittston, was arraigned by District Judge Matthew J. Carmody of West Pittston on two counts each of corruption of minors and indecent assault, and a single count of harassment. Cobb was released on $50,000 unsecured bail.
According to the criminal complaint:
Police investigated a ChildLine report they received in February 2026 alleging Cobb molested a girl in 2022.
The girl told police Cobb messaged her with family members inside a residence on Montgomery Avenue in February 2022.
Later the same day, she claimed she was watching a movie when Cobb gave her a massage. She left to go to sleep and claimed Cobb got into the same bed and inappropriately touched her for about one hour, the complaint says.
She also claimed, the complaint says, Cobb opened a bathroom door while she took a shower and stood there after she screamed.
Police filed the charges against Cobb after the girl was questioned by a forensic interviewer at the Luzerne County Children’s Advocacy Center in March 2026.
