Representatives from area municipalities attended the annual Lackawanna County Arts & Culture award ceremony held in late March at the Scranton Cultural Center. Thirty-one grants at $1,000 each were distributed to the communities as part of the 250th anniversary celebration of the United States. Every year, Arts & Culture awards a variety of programs, projects and nonprofits grants that fund valuable arts programming designed to improve the quality of life in the county.
