Joyce M. Farnsworth
OBITUARY
Joyce M. (Blue) Farnsworth, 95, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown. She was the wife of the late James L. Farnsworth, Sr. Born in Shamokin, September 24, 1930, Joyce was the daughter of the late Charles and Gertrude M. (Rodenberger) Blue. She was employed as a travel agent at AAA for 15 years before retiring in 1992. She loved to swim and would swim at the JCC for many years. Joyce was an active member of the former Zion U.C.C., Allentown where she served on Consistory, taught Bible school, sang on the choir, and was a member of the women’s guild. She was currently a member of East Hills Moravian Church, Bethlehem.
Survivors: children, Susan L. Christoff and her husband, Walter of Bethlehem, Karen Zunski and her husband, Rick of Bechtelsville, James L. Farnsworth, Jr., and his wife, Christine of Emmaus; sister, Carol Weikel of Middlesex, New Jersey; grandchildren, Amy, Kevin, Eric, Brooke, Ian, Maxwell, Rachel, Emily, Kate; great grandchildren, Elijah, Gideon, Levi, Jesse, Luke, Logan, Theodore, Charli, Mila; predeceased by a step grandson, Brad Zunski.
Service: A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 4, 2026, in the Heintzelman Stephens Funeral Home, P.C., 274 N. Krocks Road Allentown.
