Erie Smokey Bones permanently closing
A well-known barbecue restaurant chain has apparently closed it’s Erie location.
A sign on the door at Smokey Bones on Interchange Road near the Mill Creek Mall indicated it is permanently closed.

We’ve reached out to the restaurant’s parent company for comment but have not heard back yet.
Fat Brands filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in January.
According to various reports, Smokey Bones restaurants have also been closed in the Pittsburgh and Syracuse, New York areas.
