John J. ‘Jack’ Kisel
OBITUARY
John J. Jack Kisel passed away peacefully on Monday, April 20, 2026, at the Geisinger C.M.C. following an illness. A graduate of St. Patrick ‘s High School, he excelled and enjoyed many sports including basketball, baseball and golf. Jack served 6 years in the National Guard and worked most of his life for the family business at Kisel Printing. Most of all he loved and took care of his family.
Jack’s family would like to thank the entire staff of Linwood Nursing & Rehab Center for all of their kindness and compassionate care.
He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Joanne Kisel; two sons Jason & Jeffrey; brother James.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances and Margaret.
There will be a private Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate his life at a later date.
Arrangements are under the care of the Miller Bean Funeral Home Inc., 436 Cedar Ave., Scranton.
