The weekend is expected to draw it’s largest crowd of participants yet. In total, 52,000 people of all ages will take part in the marathon’s weekend of events.

In addition to the marathon, the Pirates will play the Reds at PNC Park at 1:35 p.m. Those attending Sunday’s events should expect delays, plan extra travel time and be aware of race-related road closures.

To find a garage in the city of Pittsburgh, it is suggested you use the ParkPGH app for real-time capacity of the city’s garages.
Many participants for Saturday’s events park on the North Shore.
West General Street Garage opens at 5:30 a.m. Gold Lots 1 & 2 open at 6 a.m.
For marathon day, runners park across the city.
Some find parking on North Shore and walk across the bridge, while others prefer to find parking as close to the finish line as possible.
Gold Lots 1 & 2, Red Lots and West General Robinson Street Garage open at 4 a.m.

Closures begin Friday
