Aldi is removing 44 ingredients from its products by the end of 2027

(CNN) — Aldi is removing more ingredients from its private-label products.

The grocer announced it is cutting 44 ingredients by December 2027.

The list includes several additives, including preservatives, sweeteners and flavors.

A decade ago, Aldi removed certified synthetic colors from its products.

The new announcement will bring the total number of ingredients banned from Aldi products to 57.
