EASTON, Pa. — Following in the footsteps of a familiar favorite, a new local business has begun its tasty reign with hand-crafted, small-batch pierogies.
The Pierogi Kings LLC, a new Easton-based premium frozen pierogi manufacturer, has officially launched operations and acquired Bayou Boys Pierogies, according to a news release.
Bayou Boys Pierogies was established in 2020 by the ownership team behind The Bayou restaurant in Bethlehem, and The Pierogi Kings’ recent acquisition transfers Bayou Boys Pierogies’ recipes, equipment and client relationships to the new venture, which currently supplies more than three dozen restaurant accounts throughout the region.
Founded on Jan. 1, 2026, The Pierogi Kings operates a production facility in Easton where it manufactures hand-crafted pierogies in both original (featuring Cooper cheese) and a wide variety of flavor profiles.

The company is led by three local partners: Hunter Keim, George Wagner II and Pat Breslin.
“We saw an opportunity to take something the community already loved and build a real business around it,” said Hunter Keim, president of The Pierogi Kings.
“Bayou Boys earned a reputation for quality, and our job is to honor that while bringing the consistency, capacity, and service that restaurant operators need from a wholesale partner.”
The Pierogi Kings offers wholesale, fundraisers and retail sales.
Currently, the business primarily supplies restaurants with frozen pierogies by the case for use as menu items, sides and seasonal features.
The company is steadily growing its production capacity and account base.
Individuals can shop various pierogi varieties, including cheddar, bacon, garlic, pickle, Buffalo chicken and apple, online at thepierogikings.com. Shipping, local delivery and store pick-up options are available.
“Our goal from day one was to build a manufacturing operation that could grow with our customers,” said George Wagner II, vice president of The Pierogi Kings.
“That means investing in the right equipment, recipes, and people. Every pierogi we make goes out the door under our own roof, by our own team.”
The partners plan to expand the company’s reach over the coming months, with additional products and channels in development.
“This is a Lehigh Valley business making a Lehigh Valley product for Lehigh Valley people,” said Pat Breslin, treasurer of The Pierogi Kings. “The growth we have planned keeps that local foundation at the center.”
