READING, Pa. – Business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs are learning the basics of being part of the City Revitalization and Improvement Zone program.
The city hosted a session at the Berks County Community Foundation.
They talked about how to apply, what types of projects qualify, and the annual reporting process.
The CRIZ designation means 130 acres are able to be developed with special tax breaks where revenue generated in the zone will be reinvested in the zone.
