MOOSIC, Texas (KTRE) — Former Central Heights Blue Devil Duke Ellis hit a double and scored a run in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre’s 9-6 win over Buffalo on Tuesday.
Batting seventh and starting in center field, Ellis batted 1-for-2 with a walk. Ellis hit a ground-rule double to center field in the second inning and scored on a single.
It was Ellis’s first double of the season. He is batting .357.
The RailRiders continue the series against Buffalo on Wednesday at 5:35 p.m.
