THIS EXPO SPACE WILL BE BUZZING WITH RUNNERS FROM WALL TO WALL, CHECKING OUT THE GEAR AND SOME OF THE MERCHANDISE FOR THE MARATHON ON SUNDAY. BUT TODAY IS THE PREVIEW OF THE EXPO. IT’S THE KICKOFF TO MARATHON WEEKEND. SO IT’S KIND OF THAT FIRST TOUCH POINT THAT WE HAVE WITH ALL OF OUR PARTICIPANTS. WE GET TO SEE THEIR EXCITEMENT AS THEY PICK UP THEIR MATERIALS. ADRENALINE GOING. YEAH, ABSOLUTELY. THE PRESS CONFERENCE, OUR HALL OF FAME CEREMONIES ALL WRAPPED INTO THE EXPO EXPERIENCE HERE TO GMC IS THE LEAD SPONSOR FOR THE EXPO. ALWAYS HELD TWO DAYS BEFORE THE BIG RACE. OF COURSE, THERE’S ALWAYS A TON OF MERCHANDISE AND GEAR AT THE EXPO. ALSO, THIS YEAR’S EXPO WILL FEATURE SEVERAL INTERACTIVE EVENTS THAT INCLUDES THE PACE CAR FOR RUNNERS TO SIGN THEIR NAMES, AND A FOUR RUN, TWO PHONE BOOTH FOR RUNNERS TO MAKE A CALL TO THEMSELVES. TO LEAVE AN INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE ON VOICEMAIL. AS THE EXPO SPONSOR, GNC WILL HAVE A TEAM OF RUNNERS PARTICIPATING IN A MARATHON. Every year, two days before the Dick’s Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon, runners pour into the David L. Lawrence Convention Center to officially check in for the race.It’s the Pittsburgh Live Well Expo presented by GNC.
