Pennsylvania residents can now receive free tuition at the University of Pittsburgh. The Pitt Regional Campus Tuition Pledge is a new tuition-free program for eligible Pennsylvania Residents at the Bradford, Greensburg, and Johnstown campuses. This program will also be offered for students in the Titusville Nursing program.
To be eligible students must have a household Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of $75,000 or less, reside in Pennsylvania, new or currently enrolled in one of the qualify campuses, and they must file for the annual FAFSA. If found eligible Pitt will cover whatever tuition remains after federal, state, and institutional aid has been applied.
This tuition relief program will begin in fall 2026, a separate application is not required, student will simply apply for FASFA each year and if they qualify the benefit will be applied to their account.
This program does not cover the costs of textbooks, housing, meals, and any other fees.
