Editor’s note: This story has been updated to include correct information about the state’s acceptable forms of identification and to reflect that Monday was the last “recommended” day to return a ballot by mail.

Monday was the recommended deadline for mailing ballots for the Nov. 4 election, according to Boulder County. Voters who haven’t mailed theirs yet should instead vote in person at any voter service and polling center, or use one of the county’s 24-hour drop boxes to ensure their ballot is counted.

There are drop box or voting center locations around the county. See a longer list of locations at tinyurl.com/PMMVoterGuide2025.
