SALISBURY TWP., Pa. – If you’ve ever wanted to travel to Greece for the food, you may not have to go very far.

Mike Dontas, Co-owner of Utopita, brought the Mediterranean coast to the Sunrise kitchen Friday morning.

The upscale fast-casual restaurant, which is on 3650 Nazareth Pike in Bethlehem at the Bethlehem Village Shoppes, has been open for about a year. It’s open every day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The eatery focuses on pitas, bowls, and Greek frozen yogurt.

Utopita offers vegan and gluten free options. Catering is 10% off starting Friday, and continuing up until Labor Day.

For the Sunrise show, Dontas prepared an OG Pita (with beef & lamb gyro, tzatziki, lettuce, tomato, and red onion) and a spicy spartan pita.

Dantas also featured the Build Your Own Bowl, which he said is the eatery’s most popular bowl, on Friday’s show.

The restaurant sells the Agape Bowl, which includes spring mix, pita chips, tzatziki, lemon oregano chicken, charred cauliflower, roasted red peppers, kalamata olives, feta, sun dried tomato chimmi, side of honey, and balsamic vinaigrette.

Utopita also offers stuffed nutella louks(mini Greek donuts, chocolate hazelnut spread, powdered sugar).
