A Union City man is dead after a crash in Crawford County.
Titusville police reported that the crash happened early Tuesday morning, just after 3:30 a.m. at the intersection of North Franklin and Union streets.
When police arrived, they found a heavily damaged Chevy Trailblazer on its roof, partially engulfed in flames.
The Titusville Fire Department put out those flames.
Police said the car had left the roadway and struck a tree, stating that surveillance footage from the surrounding area captured the vehicle moving at a high rate of speed moments before the crash.
Police identified the victim as 34-year-old Dustin Dingle.
Dingle was pronounced dead at the scene.
