SCRANTON, LACKWANNA CO. (WOLF) — Authorities say a multi-county drug trafficking operation that funneled narcotics into Scranton has been dismantled, with large quantities of drugs, cash, and weapons seized.
The Lackawanna County District Attorney’s Office announced three people are facing charges in connection with the investigation: Antoine Jamar McBride, Marquis C. McBride, and Denise Lateesh Raymond.
Prosecutors say all three are charged with corrupt organizations and multiple felony offenses, including possession with intent to deliver and criminal conspiracy.
Investigators allege the operation was run by Antoine McBride, who lived in Monroe County but distributed drugs in Scranton. Authorities say a home in Pocono Country Place was used as a stash house to store drugs, money, and firearms.
The case was built through surveillance, controlled buys, and coordinated investigative efforts across multiple agencies. Search warrants were executed at locations in both Lackawanna and Monroe counties.
Officials say the searches uncovered a significant drug supply, including:
Approximately one kilogram of cocaine179 grams of crack cocaine packaged for saleAbout two pounds of marijuanaMore than $35,000 in cash
Police also seized two firearms and two vehicles believed to have been used in the operation.
Authorities say the organization relied on multiple individuals, vehicles, and communication networks to move drugs into the Scranton area.
