A million-dollar Powerball ticket has been sold in Erie County.
The Pennsylvania Lottery announced on May 1 that seven winning Powerball tickets worth a combined total of $9 million were sold for the drawing on April 29.
One of those tickets, worth $1 million, was sold at the Harborcreek Giant Eagle at 4265 Buffalo Road.

The ticket sold at the Harborcreek Giant Eagle matched the five white balls drawn but not the red Powerplay which resulted in the earnings amounting to only $1 million.
The winning numbers from this drawing were 3-19-35-51-67 and the Powerball was 15.
Who won the $1 million in Erie County?
According to the Pennsylvania Lottery, winners are not known until the prizes are claimed and tickets are validated.
Winners have one year from the drawing date to claim the prizes. The winning ticket should immediately be signed on the back.
The winnings will automatically appear in the player’s account after the claim has been processed. Winners should visit palottery.pa.gov to file a claim.

Harborcreek Giant Eagle to receive selling bonus
Since the Harborcreek Giant Eagle sold a major winning ticket, the grocery store will receive a $5,000 bonus.
