CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Did you know cars have some things in common with cats and dogs?
Those are the focuses of the first-ever Paws and Pistons Exotic Car Show at the Promenade at Saucon Valley in Center Valley.
Zach Liptack and his wife Dev recently founded Paws and Pistons in Lower Saucon Township. For the couple, it’s a labor of love.
“We have one dog and right now that’s our kid. When we see an animal in need, we feel bad. So whenever we can help an animal, we like to get back whenever possible,” said Liptack.
More than two dozen exotic cars crowded the concrete, as pups like Giovanti made themselves at home. When the public contributes, it’s the pets who benefit.
“It is kitten season, so we have an influx of kittens coming in. We have a lot of owner surrenders and strays coming in as well, so there’s a lot going on at the shelter at all times. said Lindsay Fly of the Lehigh Valley Humane Society.
“This event is going to be tremendous for us,” said Fly.
Paws and Pistons is trying to raise $5,000 for the Humane Society.
