The Erie County Metropolitan Planning Organization (Erie MPO) has opened the public comment period for the Draft Public Participation Plan for transportation planning. This plan provides the methods and strategies for public outreach. This includes State and Federal regulations on the public’s participation.
The public commenting period will begin on May 1 and will remain open until 4 p.m. on June 15. The draft can be found on the Erie MPO website.
Hard copies will be available to read at the Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority’s Office and the County’s Blasco Memorial Public Library.
Written comments can be sent through mail to the Erie County Department of Planning and Community Development or through email to pcdinfo@eriecountypa.gov.

On June 17 the Erie MPO will be voting on adoption of the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) at the MPO Coordinating Committee meeting which will be held at the Summit Township Municipal Building at 10 a.m.
