(WJET/WFXP)– Erie County wants to hear from you. The county announced Friday that they’ve opened the public comment period for their Public Participation Plan.
From May 1 to June 15, residents can offer their thoughts on the Erie County Metropolitan Planning Organization’s plans on transportation, along with describing their methods and straegies for reaching out to the public.

The Erie Metropolitan Planning Organization will then vote on whether to adopt the plan or not on June 17.
To go with the public comment opening online, the county will be holidng two separate meetings on June 1 in the Blasco Library Admiral Room. The first will be from 1-3 pm and can be watched on Mircrosoft Teams using Meeting ID: 278 226 086 477 828, Passcode: LK9Sk3QS.
The second meeting will be from 6-8 pm and can be watched on Microsoft Teams using Meeting ID: 220 006 647 696 535, Passcode: 68wu6Pb7.

You can read a copy of the plan online here while hard copies of the plan can be picked up at the EMTA office and Blasco Memorial Library.
