WEST READING, Pa. – Live music rang through the streets of West Reading on Saturday.
The borough held its first-ever Porchfest.
Dozens of musicians performed live on 13 front porches in the neighborhoods.
Visitors could walk along the streets and stop and listen to all the performances.
The event was created as a way to bring people in the community together.
“It was amazing just to see the community involving themselves with us. I don’t know, there’s just something so grassroots wholesome about it,” said Katherine Chen and Kristopher Morganti, of Safe to Stay.
Organizers are hoping to make it an annual thing for years to come.
