EXETER TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Kids were transported to the 18th Century on Sunday at Daniel Boone Homestead in Exeter Township.

They learned tinsmithing, processing textiles, candle-dipping, how to write with quill pens and even how to make butter.

Children also were also able to participate in Revolutionary War-themed activities, which ended with a visit from George Washington.
