SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — It was nothing but electric in the Electric City on Sunday as music filled the air at a local park. The United States Navy Band, Cruisers, the Navy’s premier popular music group, performed at Nay Aug Park.
Dozens of people turned out for the high-energy, free concert, with some fans even dancing along to the popular tunes during the live show.

The band, featuring eight of the Navy’s dynamic performers, played a variety of musical genres ranging from classic rock and disco to pop, jazz, and rhythm and blues.
A US Navy recruiter was also on hand, providing information about the military branch during today’s outdoor concert in Scranton.
