Pedestrian dies from injuries after vehicle hits him in Washington Twp. | Northern Lehigh County

WASHINGTON TWP., Pa. – The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office said a pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle on April 20 died from his injuries over the weekend.

Richard J. Erickson, 48, of Washington Township, was pronounced dead Sunday morning, the coroner’s office said in a news release.

The coroner’s office said an autopsy will be conducted on Erickson Tuesday to help determine his cause and manner of death.

The vehicle hit Erickson on Monday, April 20 around 4:45 p.m. at the 5800 block of Route 873 in Washington Township, according to the coroner’s office.
