NAZARETH, Pa. – Police in Nazareth, Northampton County say a driver pulled a gun during a road rage incident.
A man visited the Nazareth Police Station on April 27 shortly before 1 p.m. to report a road rage incident where a man had pulled a gun, according to a news release from the Nazareth Borough Police Department.
The man told police his vehicle nearly collided with a truck that was passing by as he was pulling out of a driveway, borough police said.
The driver of the truck, who stopped and began yelling at the victim, threatened to physically harm him, according to borough police.
Borough police say the situation escalated when the man got out of his truck, and the victim saw that he was armed with a handgun, making threats to shoot.
The victim feared for his safety, raised his hands, quickly left the area, and sought refuge at the police station.
Following a thorough investigation, the man was identified as Vincent Ferraro, according to the news release.
Police charged him with terroristic threats, simple assault, and harassment. Police say he was taken into custody and transported to the Northampton County Prison.
