Two former Pennsylvania state corrections officers are charged with smuggling drugs into the prison they worked at. Investigators say Beau Angelo and Charity Thompson admitted bringing K2 and Suboxone into SCI Fayette multiple times. Former inmate Vadol Lewis allegedly helped coordinate and pay for the shipments. Thompson is also accused of having an inappropriate relationship with an inmate tied to the case. Attorney General Dave Sunday said this case involved “betrayal of sworn oaths to protect the public.” All three face multiple felony charges including conspiracy, contraband and drug delivery.
