From a galaxy far, far away to Allentown: Star Wars characters visit children’s hospital | Allentown Area

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Characters from Star Wars banded together to bring a bit of the galaxy to kids at Reilly Children’s Hospital Monday.

Two local Star Wars fan groups volunteered and helped Chewbacca, Darth Vader, Storm Troopers, Tusken Raiders and more go from room to room.

They greeted kids, took photos, and handed out galactic goodies courtesy of Starlight Children’s Foundation.

The characters also visited patients at LVHN Cedar Crest and Muhlenberg.
