Over the weekend, we made our way to West Pittston, better known this time of year as Halloweentown. This kid-friendly stroll is packed with spooky charm. Nearly every block was alive with Halloween spirit, from haunted front porches to glowing jack-o’-lanterns lighting up the sidewalks.

Our self-guided walk took us down some popular streets including as Delaware, Montgomery and Luzerne Ave.. We spotted everything from giant skeletons and flying witches to clever, family-friendly yard displays. The creativity was endless, and every turn offered something new to admire.

This week, Halloweentown is in full swing with its annual Halloween House Decorating Contest, featuring three winning homes showcased on the West Pittston Tomorrow Facebook page. And on Halloween night, the streets of West Pittston transform into the Trick-or-Treat Extravaganza complete with food trucks, festive tunes, and plenty of candy. Streets will be closed to traffic for a fun and safe evening for families.

Take a walk through West Pittston all week to soak in the eerie glow and festive decorations. And be sure to stop by on Friday, October 31, for an unforgettable night in NEPA’s own Halloweentown. Check out the highlights below!
