READING, Pa. – A crash involving two vehicles and a motorcycle briefly shut down part of Route 422 eastbound in West Reading on Monday.
911 dispatchers say emergency crews were sent to the scene just before the Penn Avenue exit, where communications officials confirmed a multi‑vehicle crash with injuries. The eastbound lanes of the highway were closed for a period of time while first responders worked the scene.
The roadway has since reopened.
Authorities have not yet released details on the number of people injured or the extent of those injuries.
