Memorial service starts at 8:30 a.m. at the Polish National Cemetary, Sunset Lane, followed by the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetary, Lackawanna Avenue. Parade marshal is Sam Guanieri; principal speaker, Navy veteran Michael Shambora. Parade participants assemble at 10 a.m. at VFW post parking lot, Grant Street. Parade starts at 10:30 am. Wyoming/West Wyoming Memorial Day Parade seeks participants: Wyoming Area Kiwanis Club is co-sponsoring the 2026 Memorial Day Parade in partnership with the Wyoming Veterans of Foreign Wars and the West Wyoming American Legion at 9:30 a.m. Monday, May 25. Community members, organizations and local groups are invited to participate and should line up at 9 a.m. in the vicinity of the West Wyoming Fire Department along Shoemaker Avenue, as well as on Johnson, Brady and Fairview streets. The route will proceed north on Shoemaker Avenue from Dailly Park toward Eighth Street, turn right onto Eighth Street, continue to Wyoming Avenue, and then turn left onto Wyoming Avenue, concluding at the Sixth Street Cemetery.
