On March 28 I had the good fortune to attend my granddaughter’s middle school musical, “Annie Jr.” at Schuylkill Valley High School. It was one of the most prolific productions of a musical I have ever seen, and I’ve seen a lot.
The show sold out both nights it was presented.
The talent of the teens in the leading roles, especially Annie and Miss Hannigan, was truly awesome, as were the other actors, dancers, stage crew, costume crew and all others who participated.
Kudos to the director, who led more than 100 people involved this production. I hope to see another production next year. Well done, Schuylkill Valley middle schoolers.
