The Erie County Democratic Party joined together on the bayfront to hear from their leader in the commonwealth.
Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro spoke at the Democrats’ Spring Dinner event at the Bayfront Sheraton.

Shapiro spoke about issues facing the people of Pennsylvania, as well as issues facing the members of the party looking to win in the fall.
Candidates and the party’s leaders joined with union members to secure common goals for the upcoming election. We spoke to one union member about what they’re trying to create.

“All we gotta do is look around and see all the work happening in Erie, and we want to be a part of that, and yes, we build things with brick and mortar, we also believe in developing communities,” said Erick Dixon of the Regional Council of Carpenters.
A crowd of over 200 people was in attendance for Wednesday night’s event.
