Coroner: Woman dies from injuries from April house fire in Bethlehem | Bethelehm Area

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – A Bethlehem woman has died, after she was injured in a house fire back in April.

Christine L. Garganta, 50, was pronounced dead Thursday afternoon, according to a news release from the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office.

The fire happened on April 23 shortly after 8:15 p.m. at the 2100 block of Princeton Avenue in Bethlehem, the coroner’s office said.

The coroner’s office said the cause of death is smoke inhalation due to the fire, and the manner of death is accident.

The coroner’s office, the Bethlehem Police Department, and the Bethlehem Fire Department are investigating.
