Through several activities Nurses are being celebrated for National Nurses Week. On May 8 at AHN Sainty Vincent in the hospital’s McGarvey Learning Center the 2026 Nurses Week Awards were held at 11 a.m.
Throughout the weeklong celebration the Pittsburgh Pirate Parrot visited, a mass was held, and the ceremonial lamp was lit to being the week of activities.
Nursing staff were able to enjoy breakfast and snack carts making rounds in several units. Several vendors visited and several other activities were held to show the ongoing support for nurses in the hospital. The staff were also able to enjoy daily scavenger hunts.
