The Monongahela incline is temporarily closed after 2 people had to be rescued overnight. According to officials. The upper and lower cars stalled 80 ft from their respective stations. There was 1 passenger stuck in each car. It took paramedics about 90 minutes to rescue the passengers. No one was injured. Since the incline is closed, PRT is offering *** shuttle for riders instead.

Two people had to be rescued from the Monongahela Incline after it stalled overnight. Pittsburgh emergency responders were called to help Port Authority Police after cars on the Mon Incline stalled just after midnight.Officials say the upper and lower cars were stuck 80 feet from their respective stations.
