FORECAST SUMMARY
Take out those fall sweaters! We are finally able to wear them comfortably. Some unseasonably cooler temperatures following us into the rest of the work week with plenty of sunshine. We will be keeping that cool breeze too for the next couple of days just to add an additional fall feeling factor to the forecast. Temperatures turn milder and seasonable for the weekend with rain chances looking to return by Sunday.

DETAILED FORECAST
THROUGH FRIDAY
A dry cold front will slide quietly through the area on Wednesday, with a reinforcing shot of cooler air awaiting in its wake. It will also kick up those blustery breezes again for Wednesday and Thursday, as we await high pressure to build in by Friday and finally shut the winds off. North to northwest winds around 15-20mph may gust to 25-30mph Wednesday and Thursday before finally diminishing to round out the week Friday. Look for plenty of sunshine all three days, with mostly sunny skies and highs around 60-65 degrees each afternoon. Lows will be in the upper 30s to low 40s, but we’ll have to watch for some frost Thursday night as that high pressure finally builds in and allows for lighter winds overnight.Â
THIS WEEKEND
High pressure will crest overhead and slide off the coast, allowing for dry weather to start the weekend on Saturday, along with a warming trend. Look for a good deal of sunshine Saturday and highs climbing to around 70° by afternoon, making this the better weekend day. Sunday will be a tad warmer, but an approaching cold front will mean at least more clouds and some showers. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s with thickening clouds, and the chance for some rain showers likely holding off until the afternoon and overnight hours, so the day certainly won’t be a washout. Rainfall amounts look mostly light, around a quarter to no more than a half inch of rain expected, at least at this early time.
