Police have charged a man in connection with a shooting in Scranton last month.
Authorities say a 23-year-old man was shot in the leg at a home along the 900 block of Clay Avenue on April 7.
Police now believe Nymere Canada, 21, is responsible for the shooting.
Canada was taken into custody on Wednesday and faces charges of aggravated assault, firearms not to be carried without a license, recklessly endangering another person, and simple assault.
He is due back in court for a preliminary hearing later this month.
