There were plenty of Mother’s Day celebrations happening across the region on Sunday, including busy brunch events at local businesses.
32 West 8th Street, the former Masonic Temple, in downtown Erie, hosted a special Mother’s Day brunch for families celebrating the women in their lives.
Cali’s West Catering served a wide variety of menu items, including breakfast favorites like eggs, bacon, and fresh fruit, along with lunch offerings such as sandwiches, salads, and appetizers. Guests also enjoyed an assortment of desserts.
Organizers said the event was designed to honor mothers and recognize everything they do for their families.
In addition to the meal, guests could enjoy live music and a photo station set up for families to capture memories from the brunch. This was the third year for the event.
