SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man has been arrested in an alleged connection to a shooting that took place in April.
According to a report from Scranton Police, 21-year-old Nymere Canada was taken into custody after an investigation into a shooting on the 900 block of Clay Avenue

Through interviews with witnesses and video evidence, police identified Canada as the suspect and later took him into custody.

Canada has been charged with aggravated assault and related charges.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for later in May.
