Three Philadelphia men have been charged following a road rage incident Friday in Haverford during which a gun was allegedly pointed at the victim.
The road rage incident began in the area of the first block of East Township Line Road in the area of West Chester Pike, police said in a news release.
Haverford police said Tynief McDaniel, 22, was charged with making terroristic threats, simple assault and narcotics violations; Tyseem Stubbs, 21, was charged with firearms and narcotic violations; and Ahmad Jackson, 20, is facing narcotic charges.
According to police, at 10:03 p.m. Haverford officers were dispatched to Township Line Road and State Road in Upper Darby for the report of a road rage incident that occurred in Havertown. Haverford was advised that the suspect vehicle was stopped in Springfield Township.
During the altercation, one of the suspects reportedly pointed a gun at the victim, police said. As a result of the investigation, the three were charged.
Charges against Stubbs included possessing a firearm with the serial number altered, making illegal repairs to make a firearm, carrying a weapon without a permit.
He was arraigned before District Judge David R. Griffin, who set his bail at 10 percent of $250,000.
McDaniel was charged with narcotics as well as harassment and simple assault. He was held on 10 percent of $75,000 bail. Court records on Jackson were not available.
Stubbs and McDaniel are scheduled for a preliminary hearing May 20 before District Judge Elysia Mancini Duerr. Court records for Jackson were not available.
