A 23-year-old Northampton man is dead after the motorcycle he was operating was involved in a crash with a motor vehicle in Allentown on Sunday afternoon, the Lehigh County coroner said.
Xavier Delgado was pronounced dead at 4:49 p.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest, Coroner Daniel Buglio said in a release. An autopsy was performed Monday; cause of death was blunt force injuries and the manner of death is accident.
The crash occurred around 4:07 p.m. in the area of North 11th and Tilghman streets.
In addition to the coroner’s office, the Allentown Police Department, the Allentown Police Traffic Unit, and the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office are investigating.
