Diverse Erie will be celebrating the 2026 Small Business Mini-Grant Initiative recipients at an award ceremony on May 22 at 10 a.m. The event will be held at the Erie County Community College and will be attended by Diverse Erie leadership and Board of Commissioners, local elected officials, and community leaders.
Over 30 businesses will be recognized and awarded at the event.
This year a combined $539,000 was invested into BIPOC-owned small businesses within Erie County. The investments allow for these businesses to continue work on expanding, improving, and upgrading.
