ALLENTOWN, Pa. – A new store coming soon to Lehigh County promises to offer “the ultimate deal hunt,” complete with “name brands, crazy prices, new drops weekly.”
The first Lehigh Valley location of Mr. Bins, which bills itself as the “biggest Amazon overstock store in PA,” will hold a grand opening at 10 a.m. May 24 at 2300 Lehigh St. in Allentown.
The updated space previously housed a Big Lots store.

“Get there early because the line will be long (but worth it)!” reads an announcement on Mr. Bins Allentown’s Facebook page.
Other Mr. Bins locations operate in Hazleton, Scranton and Wilkes-Barre.
The new Allentown store will offer the “biggest treasure hunt experience in the city,” according to the online announcement.
Store hours will be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays.
Mr. Bins gets tens of thousands of Amazon pallets a year, pours them into bins and lets shoppers hunt for deals.
“Our prices are set — one flat price every day for every item in our bins,” the Facebook post continues.
“… We will post a calendar each month so you’ll know exactly what the price of the day will be. One of the best parts of Mr. Bins is the thousands of Amazon clothing items we put out each week — all at a flat price of only $6 each. Every item is a total mystery until you open the bag, (you can open it before purchasing to see if you like it) and our customers always score really big!”
Mr. Bins labels itself “Northeast Pennsylvania’s premier discount outlet,” offering a wide array of rotating items including brand-name clothing, shoes, home goods, beauty products, tech gadgets, children’s toys and more.
More than 20,000 new items arrive weekly, with popular brand names such as Apple, Nike, Ray-Ban, Revlon, Samsung, Ugg and Under Armour being represented.
While pricing on items like clothes and shoes stays the same, the bin prices change daily, and it’s important to check Mr. Bins’ monthly calendar on the business’ website, Facebook page or Instagram page to find out what the pricing is for that day.
On days that the store restocks, the price will be higher and go down from there.
“We restock multiple times per week, as indicated on our calendar,” a message on the business’ website reads.
“This is your best chance at finding the best items, but, that doesn’t mean you can’t find gold on other days. There are so many items that go unfound. One thing to understand is no 2 visits look the same. We’re a step into the unknown store. That’s what makes this fun, you’re always treasure hunting for the best items for you. You should continue to visit as you never know what you’ll find next!”
During the Allentown store’s grand opening day, clothing will be $6 each and every other item will be $12. There also will be special grand opening raffles.
