Waldameer and Water World has announced that Water World is scheduled to open for the 2026 Season. The season will begin on May 23 with several familiar attractions available for guests to enjoy.
Returning attractions include the Giant Wave Pool, Kidz Zone, Battle of Lake Erie, Rocket Blast, and more. The newest attractions that had been announced earlier in the year are still under construction.
The park stated on Facebook that construction crews are working every day in hopes to get the attractions up and running. These include Big Water Bend, Presque Isle Plunge, and Winding Waters Endless River.
The park informed the public that due to an unseasonably cold winter and a wetter than usual spring completing construction for the newest additions has been delayed.
As of now exact opening dates for these attractions has not been determined but are anticipated to open to guests sometime in June and July.
