(WJET/WFXP) — An annual festival is making its return this summer.
The Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority and the Erie Downtown Partnership will host their fifth annual 14th Fest on Thursday, June 11.
14th Fest will take place on 14th Street between French and Holland Street and will run from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The event is free admission, open to the public and family friendly.
There will be live music throughout the evening as well as a range of local vendors like Kona Ice, Vintage Woodfire Pizza, Lavery Brewing, Erie Ale Works and more.
Jeremy Peterson, CEO of EMTA, notes how 14th Fest is a great way to start the summer season.
“It has been an energetic opening to the summer, with local vendors and entertainment, shining a light on what we do in midcity,” Peterson said.

EMTA will also present awards to employees who have served for 20 years as well as hold a brief ceremony at 5 p.m. to recognize the 60th year of EMTA’s operations.
“Taking an opportunity to acknowledge the milestones of our employees who have dedicated two decades of their lives to transportation in Erie, while also reflecting on the past 60 years of services overall is incredibly important,” Peterson said.
