Who is running for Pennsylvania House, Senate in Pike County?

Pike County is part of one state Senate district and has territory in two state House districts, and all have primary elections on the ballot this spring. The House primaries are uncontested, while state Sen. Lisa Baker faces a Republican challenger.

Here are the state legislative primaries that Pike County Republicans and Democrats will vote in by mail or at the polls on May 19.

Pennsylvania Senate primary in Pike County20th District

State Sen. Lisa Baker, in her fifth term representing the 20th District, faces a challenge from Army veteran Tyler Meyers in the Republican primary.

Jaclyn Baker, an educator, is unopposed in the Democratic primary.

Pennsylvania House primaries in Pike County139th District

Dominique Azzollini, an administrative assistant and licensed real estate agent, is the only Democratic candidate.

State Rep. Jeff Olsommer, the 139th District’s representative since May 2024 after winning a special election, is unopposed in the Republican primary.

189th District

Danica Hartenfels, a business owner and executive director of development for Serenité, is unopposed in the Republican primary.

State Rep. Tarah Probst, the former mayor of Stroudsburg, is seeking a third term in the House and is unopposed in the Democratic primary.
