NEW BETHLEHEM – The Gumtown Community Market will open for the season on Friday, May 15, in New Bethlehem’s Gumtown Park along Water Street.
The annual farm market will be open every Friday from 12:30 to 5 p.m.
Market leaders noted that due to the cold weather and late frosts, many produce items are delayed this year.
Opening on Friday, the market will feature fresh garden onions, some other fresh produce, canned goods, baked goods including donuts, homemade breads, handmade items, hanging flower baskets, bedding plants including tomatoes and peppers and other flowers for planting.
