MOOSIC, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders fall 7-4 in extra innings to the Syracuse Mets in Game One of this home stand.
The Railriders would allow one walk in the top of the second, giving the Mets the early 1-0 lead. Syracuse would tack on another in the top of the sixth as Hayden Senger would hit a solo home run to extend the Mets’ lead to 2-0.

The Railriders would get on the board in the bottom of the sixth with a sacrifice fly by Marco Luciano, allowing Kenedy Corona to score from third to make it a 2-1 Syracuse ball game.
Scranton/Wilkes-Barre would take their first lead of the night in the bottom of the seventh when Jonathan Ornelas blasts a two-run homer to left field.
Shortly after, in the bottom of the eighth, the Railriders would double their lead with a solo home run from Seth Brown.
However, Syracuse would tie the game in the top of the ninth, sending the game into extra innings. The Mets ultimately stole Game One after scoring three times in the top of the 13th to secure the 7-4 win.

Game Two of this series is set for Wednesday, May 12th at 11:05 a.m.
